Pieter's Story
Sigh. I guess you could say I'm now more of a "has been" than anything else. I have been a journalist, news editor, public relations hack, internet site designer, even lead singer in a few bands (back when). All in the past now and mostly forgotten. I've even been into religion--but, again, that's more than 10 years in the past.
Now I'm semi-retired, but still somewhat active because Bev (wife of more than 40 years), my son Ab, and I own and operate a small motel, the BraeBurn Inn, in Fort Qu'Appelle. blem.
Bev and I have three children: Ab, Ahmad and Layli. We also have six grandchildren, aged 2 to 30. Yes, that's right, 30! We even have a granddaughter that's engaged. But no great-grandchildren yet.
Hobbies: reading, computers (Macs now), the motel, and "survival". I do subscribe to Hapgood's crustal movement theory, but don't believe it will happen too soon (at least I hope not)--read the e-pub Doomsday Chronicles available free from iTunes. Just search the title in iTunes. Not generally accepted, but explains a lot.
Nuff said.
Love to hear from old classmates.
Hey, how about a 50th reunion of the class of '67 in 2017?
