Quentin's Story
Life
I spent 14 years in the Marine Corps (1985-1999), including a sabbatical at The Citadel, where I finished my BA in English Literature. I spent 6 years of that time in California (Camp Pendleton and Sacramento) and the rest on the East coast (Quantico, Virginia Beach, Charleston and Beaufort, SC). After I got out, I moved back to the Chicago area for about a year, which was a good opportunity for me to remember how much I really don't like the weather. he spring of 2000, and that fall we were bought by Northrop Grumman. Left NGIT in May 2003 to accept a position as Managing Partner of Strategic Solutions with a smaller contractor, still in Maryland. Then, having cured myself of that start-up, in April 2004 I joined a software company called SMARTS as a National Account Manager calling on Federal accounts. We were purchased by EMC 2/2005, yet one more acquisition! Life is good when you deal well with chaos, and working in software solutions sales is definitely chaotic.
