R. John's Story
I got out of Patterson in 83 and did 4 years in the Army. Goofed off for a year then went to Wright State in 89 and got a degree in biology in 93. Went to medical school and went back to the Army for another 9 years (97-06). Got out in 2006 and worked emergency medicine in Indiana for 2 years. I was rarely in Dayton for career reasons. The last person I saw from Patterson was Mr. Fowler just before I went to medical school in 93. He was in charge of the machine shop trades. We talked for a bit and visited at my Mom's house in Dayton. We parted with me giving him my machine shop tools to pass on to a student in need.
