Ra-Ette's Story

Life I finally met my match, so I married him. We have his 12 year old daughter living with us full time now, and we want more...because we're a couple of psychos. I work full time at my Dream Job...well second to being a housewife/stay at home mother, hopefully someday soon! School Recently, I had a vivid dream of my childhood that has just seemed to rip off a scab to something that I hadn't really thought of indetail...for eons. It was about this friend I had, Jennifer, who moved to Florida just before starting fifth grade. The same weekend she moved, I went to Florida to Disney World with my Grandparents. Jennifer if you are reading this now, I never actually saw you leave. I never said goodbye, because I was in denial. To me you were my best friend in the world. I remember the last time we were together, we were at my house, in the "Big" woods, you were telling me how you wrote a story about the woods behind your house and that you should have wrote about mine. That was the day you told me that you were really leaving, and I acted like I didn't care. I did care, but I was mad, upset, hurt and in denial. It didn't hit me until I came home and I stopped seeing your father's red truck coming down the hill, you weren't on my bus, the phone didn't ring. I had your address, I didn't write. I don't know why. So, I've been trying to locate you. I am not sure why I have had this dream. It could be that I finally left home for good, or maybe I'm having some oddball pregnancy horomone torture, I reall...Expand for more
y have no idea. As I try to analyze it all, I have noticed some things that make me smile like my M*A*S*H* mouse pad, and collection of tapes (my husband introduced me to the show) but you use to watch it and be able to play the theme song on the piano. You also played Alto Sax, I had to learn to play it for band because someone already played the piano. Now, I realize that people change. I am not expecting you to be the person you were at eleven years of age. I wonder what you are like now, if we have anything incommon and if you are happy and to let you know that I've missed you more than I apparently knew and I'm sorry it took me fifteen years to say so. The house still looks the same, except they painted the orange doors black, and you were right about the five year rule. The Archway Cookie Guy and his wife are gone, and new people with a lot of cars are there now. For years I've wondered What that scent that your mother used when she vaccuumed? My dog Corkey passed on the summer of 1994. He's burried in the back yard and my Grandfather made him a headstone. I cannot remember the name of your little black toy poodle, but if its not with you anymore, I am sorry. Well, I hope you will understand and say hello. Thank You. Workplace I love my job! I have the best bosses and co workers ever! I'm really excited to be back! Yes, I have an annoying commute twice a day, and I'm REALLY not looking forward to snow. I'll be snarling about wanting to move to Florida the first time I slide on ice.
