Rachel's Story
Life
I attended kindergarten in 1950 in Prescott, AZ. My family moved from Prescott to Albuquerque, NM in the fall of 1951 after I started 1st grade. After finishing 2nd grade, we moved to Kingman, AZ. During my 4th year, we moved to Lorain, Ohio where I finished 5th grade before moving to Phoenix, AZ. During my 7th year, my family moved to Vermilion-on-the-Lake where we lived until half way through High School. I graduated from Elyria High School in 1963. I did not attend college until 1984. I graduated from Colorado State University in 1988 with a degree in Microbiology...Expand for more
,Biomedical Sciences. I have worked on various research projects, and in the field of genetics. However, I enjoyed flying, and currently work as a Flight Attendant for AirTran Airlines out of Atlanta, Georgia. I love working with horses, and have trained and shown horses in events from barrel racing to english riding for the past 30 years. I especially enjoy teaching students how to train colts and ride as well. I currently have a Quarter Horse mare, of "Peppy San Badger" breeding. Out of this mare, I have a yearling filly, and a weanling colt that are "Buckskin" in color.
