05/2000-BA English Literature from Illinois Wesleyan University
04/2001-Acquired a Jack Russell Terrier named Kaya instead of a kayak. The "buy in" costs were about the same, and I figured a dog would be better company when writing all those graduate school papers. I figure I'll get a kayak when I have a garage or basement.
12/2002-MA Medieval Studies from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign--ILL INI!!!
10/2003-Married C.A. Guimond, who I dated freshman year but broke up with when he became a Sigma Chi--I was just too moral (prude) to date a frat boy--...Expand for more
ha! The second time around, we were engaged and married in 11 months. When you know, you know!
11/2003-Relocated to New York City and played "Manhattanite" for a while.
04/2005-Tired of high rent, taxes, and concrete, we moved to Hoboken, NJ where there is lower rent, taxes, and concrete but it feels more like Roscoe Village or Lakeview in Chicago. Now we can look at Manhattan from our balcony, but we don't have to live there. What I wouldn't give for some affordable land, a house, and a garden. Yet, there is no other city like New York. Her charms, quirks, and irks are completely unique.
