Rafael's Story
Oct 2015 Update
My wife has now retired from her life as a teacher. I guess those of our generation are reaching this milestone in our lives. I hope to hold out a few years more. I love what I do and can't see myself sitting t home. I amtraveling enough that I have sated that craving enough to keep working a little longer.
Life
My wife, Marcia, and I moved to El Paso Texas in 1982 where our children were born. As Marcia heads to her kindergarten class I head to Mexico where I have worked since 1982. As our children move on to their own lives Marcia and I are experiencing things from a different perspective. We are now grandparents and world travelers. My favorite thing is to take my boat on the lake and relax, catching fish is a plus.
School

we lived in ghetto. We were oblivious. I think in part because we had good friends and were content with what we knew. Time can spoil this as we learn that there is more out there. Still Tuley is what anchors us to that neighborhood and that time. I am proud of my time at Tuley and what we were able to achieve. I only regret that I was unable to sustain those friendships that made that time so ggod for me.
College
I went to school twice. Once as a teenager, then again as an adult. I learned more as a teenager, but was more successful as an adult. I could contribute life experiences as an adult that made school a more rewarding experience.
Workplace
The most gratifying part of my job is teaching the next generation of administrators how the job is done. Through coaching, mentoring and teaching we can help to ensure a work place for the team in the future.
