Ralph's Story
Life
Within days of graduating from B.C. in 1969 I entered the U.S. Navy. 26 years later, in 1995, I retired as Lieutenant Commander. The Navy took me to Morocco (70-72), Norfolk, VA (72-74), Hawaii (74-77 where I graduated from Chaminade University, Honolulu in 1977), Guam (77-81), Homestead, FL (81-85), Spain (85-88), and back to the Norfolk, VA area (88 - 2008). I now reside in Honolulu, HI. In my second career I am the Director, DoD & Federal Managed Services, Hawaii, Guam, and Pacific Rim for AT&T Government Solutions. Life is good - very, very good!! College
Although I wasn't ready to go to college when I graduated High School, a few years in the Navy made all the difference. And what a GORGEOUS place to go to college. If you absolutely HAVE to study, you can't beat stretching out with a book on Waikiki Beach or at Waimea Bay. A FABULOUS time in my life. It was that time moreso than being anyplace else, that shaped my decision to return to Hawaii someday. Sure enough, relocated "home" to Hawaii in 2008. It's SOOOOO good to be back!!
