Ralph's Story
After graduation from Mines (where I lettered in swimming 3 years, was Editor of the yearbook and President of ATO), I worked for US Steel in the Rolling Mills in Chicago, married my wonderful wife, Troyann, then worked in USS Research in Monroeville, PA, while getting my law degree at night at Duquesne U. Worked as a patent attorney for US Steel for 5 years. Moved to Charlotte, NC as patent counsel for Korf Industries for 8 y...Expand for more
ears. Started my own law firm in 1983 - still at it today, but only work for a handful of clients. .
We have two daughters, 4 grandsons, and a great granddaughter. We travel extensively - have visited all 7 continents, more than 55 countries, and every state. Finally got to Oregon.in 2015.
I head a foundation where we tutor and feed at-risk children after school, most of whom are latch-key kids.
