Ralph's Story
My Story, I live in Bourbonnais IL, 60 miles south of Chicago. I was a Computer Systems Manager for about 36 year and have been a Paid on Call Firefighter/Paramedic for over 31 years. I am now a full time Teacher, teaching high school Juniors and Seniors to become Firefighters. I really love my job teaching and being a Firefighter/Paramedic. I was married for 18 years, then divorced, and have two wonderful sons Shane 35 and Adam 31. we both hope to retire. I had a near death experience in 2006 (Necrotizing Pancreatitis) and I am very lucky to be alive. I am enjoying life as much as I can, doing the things I love to do with the people I love. I get back home to Ironton a couple times each year, to see and help my mother. I usually come down in the Spring or Summer and around Thanksgiving to see my Mother and to go Deer Hunting with my Sons. I hope everyone is doing fine and enjoying life to the fullest.
