Ralph's Story
Joined Navy after High School, spent 8 years. 2nd enlistment spent in Hawaii where both our kids were born. Returned to Uvalde after leaving military but no luck in finding work to satisfy me. Went to Houston where I worked as a Electronics Technician for 8 years. Wound up getting a job at a Chemical Plant where I spent 30+ years working as an Analyzer Technician. Took early Retirement in 2009 in my middle 50's, got bored after just 10 months, went back to work and retired again in 2017. e needed a career change. Went to Law School and is now a Practicing Attorney in the Houston Area, wife Amee got her RN Degree, after a few years went back to school and got her Masters . Years later she got her PhD and now teaches for Baylor University. They have 5 kids, 3 already in College. Our Daughter got her degree at Texas A&M and works in Logistics, has 2 Daughters, Oldest already in College and the youngest will finish High School in 2023. Wife & I currently live in Katy, bought some land in Bandera and are currently in the process of building a home there, away from the hectic pace of big city life.
