Rance's Story
...sometime ago, even before I had heard of Liberty Valence, I had been considering a name change. My thinking was that a fresh history of sorts, might serve me well in my advanced age, and even offer anonymity somewhat, on the various social outlets that seemed to be encrouching my life and those around me. It's worked very marginally at best as my growing league of wise grandchildren still "knock-me-off" as only grandpa and not Sir Granpa The Bullfighter as I attempted to instruct them wh...Expand for more
en they were more gullible. So....I now confess that I only use Rance Stoddard as my pen-name.
I wish all the Lonstreet Demons (especially the class of '68 of whom I've retained the fondest of memories) well.

PS; I sincerely hope that C.A. Taylor finally learned how to play the drums or gave them up for some broader endeavor.
