Randall's Story

Life My Pets I have a Chow Chow, (fluffy beanie babies on steroids), Rosie, a mahogany, (dark red/rust). I also have an orange tiger/marmalade cat, Riley and a black/gray tabby, Eddie. My Kids Anna, 42, Christopher, 40, and Amy, 38, 9 grandchildren. Anna, 42, blogger for young Christian bloggers, social media director for DaySpring, the religious line of Hallmark. Author of three books of devotions for young mothers. Christopher, 40, works for Kenny Courage, aiding brain trauma individuals to live independently. My clone! Amy, 36, Youth Director at a Lutheran Church in South Minneapolis and a certified personal trainer. All three are wonderful kids. I am truly blessed with them! At Christmas, my beautiful wife, Audrey, and I will celebrate our 20th anniversary. My Job I retired After 38 years of teaching vocal and instrumental music in Farmington, Minnesota. tling for 2,(surprise, surprise, and we actually won!). I also taught in the Department of Continuing Studies at Hamline University in St.Paul for 20 years. There, I had 12 different classes that I rotated on music history; Music of the Civil War, History of American Folk Music, History of Jazz in America, Music of Mexico, Native American Music, etc. I just retired after two years of being the senior choir director at the Northfield United Methodist Church. Not much difference between teaching adults and 8th graders, (except that you can get 8th graders to stop talking)! Besides teaching, I play classical guitar, flamenco guitar, finger style guitar and renaissance lute professionally in the Twin City Metro area, doing several full concerts each year. I use 20+ instruments in a program that date from 1785, 1835, 1850, 1898, and 1917 to present, going through the evolution of the guitar. Great fun! I would really love to hear from you!
