Randall's Story

Life After graduation I worked at Kimnack Ford as a mechanic til I won the lottery,the draft lottery, I was issued a 1-A card so had to do something. Upon researching my options I discovered that VietNam had no Navy therefore it sounded safe so I joined the Navy. Served 2 tours of duty overseas attached to a fighter squadron onboard the aircraft carrier J.F. Kennedy. nd took a 3 month trip across the U.S. It took us 2 months just to get to California. After seeing other parts of the country I decided to move away for awhile and ended up in Kansas City. I lived in a small town south of KC for 15 years. I got married while I was there and got divorced. In 94 I transferred with the Post Ofiice to Raleigh N.C.I now live near Raleigh with my 16 year old daughter,2 dogs and a cat. My folks moved from Norfolk to Currituck and live next to the sound where I spend a lot of time fishing and windsurfing.
