Randall's Story
Life
Haven't really lived, yet.
Too lazy to get anything worthwile done.
Still waiting for life's instruction booklet--that explains how to earn millions of $$$ & how to avoid the dumb & rude people.
School
Education is a lifelong process!
Workplace
After 11 years (off & on) of 4 colleges (Harper, U of Arizona, NIU & NEIU), with 5 different majors (Architecture, B Management, 2nd Educ, Accounting, then finally a BA in Economics), I have not come close to my potential or goals. Probably less than half of us have. Been waiting tables (some bartending too) for 10 years. Aren't most of us underutilized in our abilities? Taking home only about $400/ week.
If I stayed focused & didn't become an alcoholic (functional though), I would have finished up in 1990 with a BS in Architecture & would have been able to go into my lifelong [very grandiose] goal of city planning (a whole new on in the desert) & real estate development. I will be developing a web site eventually. Stay tuned. Other projects you might see in the next decade include books about the ec...Expand for more
onomy, politics, social issues, and maybe even about staying sober & living up to your potential. Also I want to try stand-up comedy, and also, public speaking (motivational or other), but of course for that, I need to have a few major accomplishments & a good reason to be listened to. I've also had many ideas about starting a business & developing new products. Nothing concrete or workable yet. Anyone have entrepreneurial spirit?
We're all gonna meet for the 20 year reunion? Lynn Rafferty & others, are you planning that yet? Maybe in 20 years I can fly everyone out to my city. Or at least maybe I'll have a block or a square mile of property & you can all stay in my hotel for free.
Be excellent to everyone & constantly improve yourself & leave things better than you found them & live life to its fullest & blah, blah, blah.
Let's be thankful for our troops making the world safer for freedom. Read my books in the future. Party on! Live long & strive for success!
Fading away for now,
Randall Hayden
