Randall's Story
Workplace
After graduation I enlisted in the U.S. Army and became an airborne infantryman, I served in both the 82nd Airborne Division and the 101st Airborne Division. I was honorably discharged in 1987. Upon returning home I joined the Crystal River Police Dept as a dispatcher, as well as attending the police academy at night to receive my law enforcement certification. Upon graduation I was hired as a deputy sheriff in Okeechobee County,Fl. I served in this position for (7) years.I was then hired by the Seminole Indian Tribe as a detective sergeant for their police department, and served in that capacity for (2) years. e traffic enforcement unit as well as the agencies public relations officer. In 1998 I accepted the position of Chief of Police for the small community of Berlin, Georgia. I served as chief for (7) years and retired from law enforcement in December 2004. As well, I ran unsuccessfully for Sheriff in 2004. I now raise horses and Texas Longhorn cattle and basically work on the family farm. I have enjoyed my career in law enforcement and now look forward to a fun- filled retirement. As of February 2009 I am gearing up to start a new enterprise (Spanish Treasure Salvor). Always wanted to do this and now that I have the time I'm going for it...
