Randi's Story

Life It can't be possible to summarize 20 years of living in 2000 characters. Suffice it to say that I am alive and well and living in Oregon ... a little older, a little wiser. Adore my son. Love my husband. Enjoy the sunny days and don't despair the drizzle. Long for a swim suit that fits right, a hair cut that is flattering, and a quiet afternoon with a good book. Ponder the universe, wonder about something everyday, treasure the nieces and nephews, try to define what spirituality means to me, work at being a good person, don't litter, recycle, practice what I preach. Strive to be true to myself and be a good friend. Look forward to the next adventure, savor good wines and yummy, expensive chocolates. Avoid the mall, hate Wal-Mart, buy used books. ct on my community, or maybe even the world before I come to the end of my days. College In 1997, after a corporate restructure which closed the office I had been working in for nearly 10 years and after my father passed away, I decided to pursue my degree and enrolled in college (again). I started at Portland Community College, got into the rhythm of homework and studying. After about 18 months I started taking classes at Portland State University with a major in Environmental Science. I opted for minors in geology and anthropology. I really enjoyed school and would go back in a heart beat to pursue a graduate degree, but our son is facing H.S. graduation and his education comes next. Doesn't mean I won't work on that in the future, though! Workplace Currently Support Services Manager at an environmental engineering firm in Portland.
