My life has been different, that's for sure! I graduated from Lake Havasu City, AZ, after attending Atoka county schools, including Harmony, Stringtown and Atoka, most of my life. I missed my friends in Atoka, especially Eva Gayle Cochran and Sue Fleming McGinnis(I've known Sue since 3rd grade), Peggy McDonald, Karen Fina, Beverly Benham and Jan Underwood, but I was glad to move because I love meeting new people and seeing new places. That has been the major theme of my life. Besides my home state of Oklahoma, I've lived in Utah (where I met my husband and had my son), Arizona, California, Tennessee, Florida, Vermont and the US Virgin Islands twice. I've been a waitress, radio dj (I was terrible, cause I'm not good with timed events), newspaper reporter, executive assistant, social worker and now work as manager for a small historical museum, which I love. I intend to go back to school to get a master's in some area of historical preservation.
