Randy Johnson:  

After graduation from Lindbergh I knocked around with several Lindbergh classmates for roommates, including Joe Mackenzie, Robin Schuy, Kurt Palmer and Jay Hill. I attended Bellevue College and North Seattle College while holding down several jobs in the kitchens of restaurants around the area. Sometime in there I learned to fly airplanes. Before deciding that it was an endeavour too rich for my blood I racked up 300+ hours of flight time. That also is a picture of me in a hang glider that you see in my then profile. Broken bones made me decide to abandon that kind of flying! While working at a restaurant in Northgate I met a man who asked what I was doing there and when I answered that I was working my way through school and was enrolled in the electronics program at North Seattle College he handed me a card and offered that he could get me into something a little more related to my field of interest.
