Randy's Story
Life
NO kids, no pets, no time!! I do however have a Harley, not new, but a 1988 Hardtail. Since high school i have lived in Eau Claire, Wi (2yrs college) moved to Portland, Or. in 1982. Finished school at Portland State Univ. finally in 1992 after working for Nike in the R&D lab, and Playing in various bands. Some of you may remember i played guitar at many of our high school dances!! After college, worked for Guitar Center for 10yrs Transfering to So Cal in 1999 where i had the pleasure of reuniting with my best friend Steve Cipolla.All along the way i wrote and recorded 100's of songs in search of the elusive "major label deal".Never came!! But i have had the pleasure of signing several "Indy" label deals, and sharing the stage with bands such as Green Day, Lit, and The presidents of the united states.Played on the Warped tour, and have been across the U.S. several times, visiting many cities!! Hobbies are...Collecting guitars, riding in the wind, tattooes, Microbrews!! and reading. I am a long time vegetarian, and practice Wiccan religion. All for now, i never included typing as a hobbie, in fact, i got a "D" in typing in high school!! Peace......Randy Long
College
Dan Mcinerny, the coolest college roomate ever at U.W.E.C.!! Caffeine... would never put that terrible drug into my body!! Did drag my "ass" to class on many occasions after a long night of "brewskis" and playing foosball!! Playing in a band took precedence, so i actually never finished until 1992!! Professional student!!
Workplace
As i have stated, playing my music has been first and foremost in my life. I have however worked as a restaurant manager, in the R&D lab at Nike, In management at Guitar Center, and as an Operations Manager for A foreign air freight co. I hope that is all!!
