Randy's Story
Hello former classmates and friends! Thanks for checking out my profile. I've reconnected with a couple old friends lately and that inspired me to dig out my old Cooper yearbooks. Looking through the yearbooks made me realize how many people I'd forgotten about - but you are forgotten no longer! Now I'm curious to know what everyone is up to. Sign my guestbook or drop me a line to say hi randy.mikolai at comcast.net.
Here is my life in a nutshell:
After high school, I spent too much time and money at the U of M and came out with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. I worked a variety of jobs during college, sometimes 3 at a time. Right after college I stumbled into a Sales job and I have been selling electronic components and systems ever since. I currently work for a connector company in Fridley, MN. Besides a temporary stint in San Jose, CA, I've always lived in the Minneapolis area.
I spent most of my 20's footloose and fancy free before taking a "marriag...Expand for more
e Mulligan" and then meeting the woman of my dreams and getting married in 2010. Now we have a house in the suburbs (Maple Grove), white picket fence (not really), and 2.2 kids (really 2, but the 3rd is due soon). My kids were born in 2004 (Jack) and 2006 (Avery), and September 2011 (sex yet unknown). I love being a dad!
After family, my next favorite thing is water skiing. I joined a water ski team in college - the Twin Cities River Rats - and I performed in ski shows for 20 years. My wife is also a water skier and our kids are learning to ski too.
I also enjoy snowmobiling, travelling, SCUBA diving, snowboarding, running, biking, golf, concerts, sporting events, weekends at the cabin, and almost anything else that involves the outdoors. My wife shares most of these interests, too. I also love coaching the kids in hockey, baseball, and football.
So that is about it - 22 years in 200 words.
Take Care,
Randy
