Workplace After leaving the Air Force in 1992, I went back to work at McDonalds as a company trouble shooter, after doing that for a few years I left to join the Wal-Mart team at Industry, CA. Shortly after being hired there I was promoted to a customer service manager and worked in that position for about 8 months, a new oppertunity arose and I traveled for Wal-Mart setting up stores backrooms for their yearly Inventory. I became quite good at what I was doing to the extent store would ask for my crew every year, during that time frame I helped set up 8 new stores and went through 2 remodels. In June 2003 I decided to go back into salary management and entered the assistant manager training program for Wal-Mart I trained for 17 weeks at Glendora Calif and my first store was at Duarte Calif where I am the overnight Manager in charge of replenishing the shelves. In 2005 I left and moved to San Bernardino and worked for Wal-Mart, I am now In Rosamond,CA outside of Edwards AFB. I have been enjoying semi-retirement going to all the kids functions and school events. In March 2008 I decided to get back into the work force. I joined a company Called Harbor Freight Tools in Lancaster, many people have heard of them but they are still a small company in the scheme of things. I am currently in their Lancaster store. My oldest son Randy is in Mt Sac. in Walnut Calif getting his degree in Computer programing and repair, he is active with his music and has played in severa...Expand for more
