Randy's Story

Looking to connect with fellow Idaho Falls High School Alumni - not necessarily from 1974 Alumni. If you would like to chat - say hello. Just curious to see if I can connect with some of my 74 Alum and also find out how other Alumni are doing. The following is a bit about where life took me......... After Idaho Falls HS in 74, I graduated from Idaho State University in 78 with a B.A. and J.D. from Willamette University of Law in 1981. Received a Masters of Law (LL.M) from the Judge Advocte Generals School in Military Law in 81 and LL.M. from University of Missouri it 2005 in Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR). Married and Divorced (20 years) - Married and Divorced and Remarried (Okay - maybe not right in the head LOL). Feb 14, 1997 Kathy Woolf - 3 daughters 2 from my first marriage and one from her first marriage. ost traumatic. Lived All over the world. Fort Campbell, KY; Sinai Peninsula in Egypt (Valley of Kings is amazing); Korea (Camp Casey and Camp Howze); Fort Campbell, KY; Charlottsville, VA; Wuerzburg and Graphenwoehr, Germany; Fort McPherson, GA; Charlottsville, VA; Washington, DC. As civilian, served as a government contractor to the Joint Non-Lethel Weapons Program (DOD), and contractor to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Army G6 (Information & Technology). Later, served as Government Civilian Employee for the CIO, G6 in Washington, DC. Retired. As retired, I did small court, Victim-Offender, Parent-Teen, Husband/wife (Family) mediations for the court systems. The workload is overwhelming. Please say a prayer for those folks that do this for a living. This was a very satisfying type of work. Very emotionally draining. I ran a Chronic Pain Group for those who suffer chronic pain. I am stuck with it from the military. I do not do it anymore but may start it again in the future after I finish some of the things around the house. If you have any questions about it, please ask. It really does help. I have many blessings in my life. Two of which include: 12 yrs, 10 days Sober and 5yrs, 7mths, 14 days smoke free as of 17Jan23 Lost too many friends and loved ones to alcohol and drugs - just recently my older brother Steve. Hope to hear from fellow classmates. Best wishes and peace. Randy
