Randy's Story
After high school, stayed around Colstrip until '78. Decided to try my luck at Montana State University. Turned out to be a great decision...received engineering degree in '82. After college, moved around the country seeking that 'perfect job'. Have worked in various positions with large construction companies, including VP/Operations and Senior Project Manager. Currently working with a Developer in Western North Dakota and am enjoying the many challenges presented.
Chris, my oldest son is also working for an engineering firm in Western North Dakota. Travis is in the Army and recently completed a tour in Afghanistan. He has received a Purple Heart and als...Expand for more
o a Bronze Star for his many actions in Afghanistan. He has been a sniper and is now implanted in a special operations team. Quite proud of both of my sons and family.
Looking forward to retirement and possibility of moving West to Oregon or Washington. Retirement doesn't excite me and my wife comments that I'll likely work 'til I drop. The Construction field has been very good to my family and I. I've no regrets and look forward to many years working for myself.
Hope you enjoy my little story. Not much else to talk about, just getting on. I look forward to hearing from all of you and am curious to know how everyone's lives have turned out.
