Raquel's Story
Life
I have lived a little bit of everywhere. There is no place like my home in Mart, Texas. I married at a very young age and well the best thing that came out of that experience is my son. He is my most valued treasure that god has ever blessed me with. Those of you that know me know that I am very lucky to have him. I had Chad Premature at 25weeks, he was a 1lb8oz baby. I was a single mom for the first few years of his life. Working as a CNA, and my family(Mom,dad, Grandparents, & Doris) helping us along the way. Thank god for my family, I do not think I would have gotten as far as I did without them by my side. In 94,I chose the life of an Army Spouse. I am very proud of my husband. He is always showing me how much I mean and that I can still have the world. I have traveled to Panama, Europe. Now back in the US from West Cost to the East Coast. Who thought, I would ever need World History. I did find out that there is "Life Beyond Dairy Queen". I have seen just about everything, but something's seem to still surprise me at times..
Of course I have to mention, before we even lef...Expand for more
t for Panama we had a beautiful little girl. She is very bright and always cheerful. She keeps the rest of us on our toes. She is always there with a hug and bandaide as needed.
We will be settling down in a few years to come. Retirement from the Army... If you find yourself here, reading my bio. Please send me a message I would love to hear from you... It is always nice to hear from an ole friend. From when I was in school or an old duty station. I remember just about everybody, I am a woman! Plus the Army family is a very small world, I am sure we will meet again.
School
Okay well this thing ask who was my biggest crush in high school would have been, LOL, Raymond Talley. Life is funny because I ended up taking care of his grandmother after she had her stroke. The teacher that inspired me the most was Mrs. Davis. Who would have ever thought, she made me want to see the world. Mrs Davis inspired me to be who I am, to accept that if I could not find happiness in Mart, Tx I would never find it. I did not do so well in English but I did learn something. Thank you Mrs. Davis.
