== I pondered many times on how I could best share with you. I finally settled on sharing a piece that I wrote many years ago as my life's mission statement. It served as a template and guide for me. Although it was hard to compose, and it is easier said than done, I still try hard. So... here it goes:
"MY LIFE"S MISSION STATEMENT.
I cherish my relationship with my wife and children, family and friends. I will therefore strive to pay attention to those things that foster and nurture these relationships. I take pride in the results of my work and will look for opportunities for continued personal and intellectual gr...Expand for more
owth. I am at my best when in peace with others and myself, I will therefore devote time to study, learn and understand spiritual principles. I make mistakes; but I will be conscious and apply these principles and know that my words and actions are honest and sincere.
Since I am happy when my loved ones are happy, I will strive to be more patient and understanding of their emotional needs and more mindful of their presence in my life. I will be more aware of my body machine, be disciplined in my diet and exercise regularly so that I may achieve a healthy mind in a healthy body. I will learn to be humble, and as time runs its inexorable course, I will look back to evaluate my performance in these goals so that, if the blessing of a long life is bestowed upon me, I may in some way touch the lives of those that I associate with."
