Ray Blanc:  

I attended the University of MO at Rolla, and got my BS degree in Computer Science in 1974. I moved to St. Louis in 1975 where my first job was with Control Data. from 1975 to 1986. I was an applications analyst for 2 yrs and a sales rep for 9.5 yrs. I met my wife Kathy in 1977 while jogging in our apartment complex. We got married in August 1979. Our son Matthew was born in 1981. We bought our first house in Overland area in 1980. I went to work for Nordyne (formerly Intertherm) in 1986 to 1991 as Manager of Information Services. I was in charge of data center, data and telecommunications for our 5 facilities in St. Louis area and Boonville. In 1991 I went to work for a physician and engineering recruiting firm in St Louis where I wrote a system used for recruiting and placement I also managed a team of recruiters who collected Doctor information In 1997 I went to work for SBC Communications Co, which is now AT&T.. I was a technical Team Lead, responsible for Document Mangement for the Company. I retired in 2019 I was involved in CYC sports for over 15 yrs. I coached Baseball, soccer and Basketball. I ran the basketball program at St John Bosco for 15 yrs and ran the West Count Basketball League as well. I became a sports official.
