Ray's Story
Hey Everyone
Lets see, I have been happily married for 25 years to my lovely wife, Beth M.S.W.in Social Work. We have two children, Kayla & Hunter. We met at EMU. I was at Eastern from 81-91. I Played football for Eastern from 81-83, I wanted to be a career student but decided to finally leave Eastern after 166 credits. I graduated with a B.S. in Education. We moved to Georgia for three years where I taught high school science and coached football at Wheeler High in Marietta. We moved back to Michigan after being hired by Utica Comm. Schools. ars from 96'-05'. I now teach at Malow J.H. where I have been the freshman football coach for the past 12 years but teaching there only for the past 4.
As far as my time at North...well I was pretty quiet but did make some noise as a football player. I played Defensive tackle and was the kicker. I tried to step out of my shell by getting involved with dancing. The Disco Era. I thought it might have helped me. People who really helped me were Bill Donahue, The Bommarito's, the Packan and Contesti families. My best friend from High School was Scott Pavlik was a junior when I left!
