Ray's Story
Life
Although I am originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, I currently live in Bristol, Connecticut which is situated halfway between NYC and Boston. I work for ESPN in Production Ops. I am a technical director for master control and I am responsible for running ESPN and ESPN2 as well as international networks including Pacific Rim, Atlantic, and Latin America. I am also in the Army National Guard and was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

ons and I'm responsible for operating ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Latin America, ESPN Pacific Rim, and ESPN Atlantic. I work with Programming Integration and the directors of live sporting events and studio shows i.e. Sportscenter to make sure everything goes on-air properly.
Military
I spent 7 months in Afghanistan with the 527th Engineering Battalion. We were attached to the 82nd Airborne Division and assigned to Bagram Air Base. I worked on many engineering projects but also spent most of my time studying culture. I learned some Farsi and Italian as well
