Life
Because I was afraid to do a book report, in front of my classmates, I walked out of Mainland High in the 10th grade and never went back. A year later I enrolled in a vocational night school class (Mary Karl) where I studied electronics.
I began working for RCA at Cape Canaveral in 1962 as a RADAR technician. I am now a Senior Staff Member of The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and the manager of their Cape Canaveral Office. I married Carmen Julien in 1960 (just celebrated 41t...Expand for more
h). Five children (1 deceased), 6 grand children. We have lived in Port Orange, Florida for the last 34 years.
I overcame my public speaking fear in 1974 and am now an active member of Toastmasters International and recently completed a second term as President of the Volusia County Sandcastle Storytellers Association.
Hobbies are: Helping others overcome the fear of Public Speaking, Storytelling, Writing short stories, Fishing, Family get togethers and Good old conversation over a cool refreshing drink.
