Rayne's Story
If you would like to get a hold of me, use my home e-mail, it is raynek at yahoo dot com. I would love to hear from my classmates.
Headed off to college for two years, but finally gave in to my dream to move to LA and make movies. Went to film school, and then worked in the film industry for 5 years. Mostly on independent films that didn't make it to the theater, "Possums" made it to dvd if you are ever in the mood for a nice family movie. I did get a taste of some of the bigger films - a little work on Swordfish, Artificial Intelligence, American Pie Three and Sex and the City, we got to shoot at the Playboy mansion, it was very cool. Accidentally fell out of the movie world on a trip to northern California and found myself living in Silicon Valley. I now work as a paralegal for a law firm working with start-up companies being financed by venture capitalists. I really love it up here, very different world from LA.
I have been lucky enough to be able to travel, and am 4/7th of my way to my goal of visiting every continent. I made it to South America and Antarctica in the winter of 2007.
So, overall, life is good. I visit Iowa once a year to visit my 9 nieces and nephews, and then hea...Expand for more
d back to CA for my sanity :-)
I hope everyone that reads this is doing well.
OK - let's see what this story wizard works...
How do you blow off steam? Vent.
Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. What's been your biggest surprise? Adulthood
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel everything and add on a a whole other condo. My dream home would be big with a yard..
If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to my family, then spend the rest on traveling, my friends and traveling with my friends.
My best friend would tell you I'm shy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as hard to get to know.
Still dress like you did 10 (or 20) years ago? Talk style. umm, I hate to say it, but yes.
What's the weirdest job you ever had? I had two, housekeeper at the Roadway in by I-80 for 3 days, and 4 weeks of "drowning" white mice at pioneer for some stress test.
I share my home with my best friend, which I find great.
My first job was at Pizza Hut, where I got paid 3.25 to wash dishes. What I remember most about it is that I really did learn alot about a good work ethic.
Share a childhood memory you'll never forget. All my great weekends with the Goonies.
