Life

I went into the Navy on Submarines in 1942 and got out in 1949. I married Esther Webb in 1945, had 4 children. She died in 1982. I then Married Elaine Galvin, also a classmate as was Esther. She died in 1992. I am now married to a woman from Maine and we travel back and forth between Maine in the summer and Florida in the winter.
School
I attended Allen school from 1928 till 1932. Then Rochelle till 1934. Then Knoxville Jr High till 1937. Then South Hills high School till Feb 1940 when I graduated.

Workplace
I was at Jamestown Furniture for 2 mo. and went to Carborundum Co. (no lnger in business) for 6 years as Electrician. Moved to St Petersburg Florida and worked at GE for 7 yrs as Electronics tech. Then Honewell for 2 1/2 yrs as Elect. tech. Then Martin Marrietta 7 months. then to Kenn. Space Center in Flight Crew Training for Appollo, 4 1/2 years Then to Sebring Fla at McLeans Furnature as Appliance Tech. Back to St Pete in 1973 to Pinellas Contrete as Electrician 10 years. Finally at Vernitron Corp as Electronics tech for 2 1/2 years and retired in July i985 at age 62.
