Reba's Story
I am Reba Pearl Gaines and I am a 1973 graduate of Little Rock Central High School. I am currently completing my Master of Counseling w/Rehabilitation degree for UALR. My sister and I both take care of our 93 year old mother. I am a member Delta Sigma Theta sorority and I am an accomplished singer. My best friend in high school and continues unto this day is Etta Berry O'Neal.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family thought that was a a fantastic idea because I worked so well with children and still do. As it turns out, they were partially correct. I did subtitute teach at one time but chose to take my love for children another route. I have two u/graduate degree...Expand for more
s in social work and have some experience in case management. My plans are not to forego those plans for working with children just not teaching.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10% of it to church, then spend the rest on family, pay off bills and invest the rest.
I share my home with 93 year old mother, which I find interesting and a blessing.
9/25/18 Since this writing my wonderful mother transitioned in 2010. She is with my first love, my dad, and I'm sure they are happy. Since 2001 I have been employed with Arkansas Hospice where since 2010, before the passing of my mother I became a Bereavement Specialist. Love it!!!!!! By God's grace the other plans I have will come to fruition.
