Rebecca's Story
Life
This is the scoop on me.....
I went into the Navy following graduation and made it as far as Great Lakes, IL. I lasted only a year before managing to get myself in enough trouble to get kicked out. I have no idea why I thought I could handle that much authority. Fortunately, something good did come out of the whole experience. I met my husband, Scott, as I was being processed out. I came back to Oxford for a couple of years and we continued to have a long-distance relationship. I attended Oakland Community College until I had my daughter, Ravyn, in 1999. Scott and I married in 2000 and we moved to Everett, Washington shortly after. Scott is originally from the Seattle area so we have family here. I stayed at home for the first couple years with Ravyn since Scott travels for his work. ever blows, we'll have front row tickets, but we'll also have to get a new house. I got sober in March of 2003 and things in my life really started to fall into place. I went back to school and finished up my AAS degree at Pierce College and then my BA in Psychology from Argosy University in Seattle. I am working on the MA in Mental Health Counseling at the same university, but I don't have set in stone which direction I want to go. My daughter is in first grade already and it is a lot of fun. I come back to Oxford to visit my family at least once per year. I make it a point to catch up with Kelly, Brandon, Pio, and Kristie so that I keep in touch with my high school ties. I am looking forward to the reunion next year, although I don't know yet if I can make it. I hope that the information will come to me way out here. I love living in Washington state and am extremely happy with my life. I wish all of you peace and happiness.
