In 1987 I was on a church retreat & met my first husband Michael George LaPoint of Westfield Massachusetts We hit it off right away & went together for 6 months got engaged & 6 months later got married. He waited 11 months after we got married to tell me that he did not like kids so we never had any. On April 15, 2002 at 8:30am my husband Mike was killed on the job, he was a garbage man for 18 years & rode the back of the truck, he fell off the truck &got ran over the truck & killed, I was 39 years old two months before my 40th birthday. His best friend John Joseph Connolly died three years later he had a heart condition. I was in & out of bad relationships for awhile & now 10 years later, on November 11, 2011 I met a certified chef from Jamesburg NJ on Speed Date.com we hit it off too & on March 13, 2012 we got engaged in a restaurant in Monroe Township NJ in front of his parents & Mine. I have been working at Stop & Shop on Route One South in Edison for 7 years now. I always wanted to be a concert guitarist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea.
