Life
My Family: Bryant & I; Jessica (Va Tech class of 2011), Ryan (98), Nick (02), James and David (03).
My Folks: Bob & Emily Martin are doing well, have moved into their retirement dream home where they continue to host friends and family, and are actively involved in programs at Salem Baptist Church. Come visit us!
After '85 ECS graduation, I joined my brother Ken ('84 ECS grad) at Va Tech. Ken graduated from the ROTC Corp of Cadets program with a BS in Horticulture in 1988. I finished in 1990 with a BS in Human Development (Child Development & Psychology). 1991 found me a single mom of a lovely 2 year old, returned to Prince William County to work for the local government.
Bryant & I got married in 1995, and I've been able to stay home since the birth of our second son in 2002. We've recently acquired a basketball hoop and begun basic skills training with Ryan (he's showing his father's talent, thank th...Expand for more
e Lord it's not his mom's!). I miss tossing that basketball around. Nick is interested in the piano, so maybe that legacy will continue. Jessica has finally believed in her vocal talents enough to attempt her first-ever choral audition: she earned the prestige of being the only freshman soprano accepted into Va Tech's highest undergraduate concert choir. Praise the Lord! Now, if only the twins would play volleyball with me...

School
Mrs. Robertson's math class, Sean Cato's singing voice, how many times a week did we have chapel, anyway? Away games with dinner at McDonalds, physics with Ms. Smart in the new lab above the gym, did we ALL have to take typing?! Soccer and Basketball championships (you guys were the BEST!), the decorated flagpole dedicated by the class of ??, the day we lost Sean, Matt & Mark. What a time...
