Rebecca's Story
Life Update
2015- My mother went to heaven February of 2014. We had moved to her house in November of 2013. That is where I am living now in her house in Wills Point, Texas. Lots of country out here...which is good since I have Noah's Ark living with me. Hope everyone is fine out there! God bless you and give you joy. OH! I am now a proud recipient of Medicare...I am amazed, seems like I just got my driver's license last week LOL.
I have been retired for 1 year now and it has been busy! My oldest daughter has married a wonderful Englishman and she and 2 of her 5 children are in England with him now. We are working on visas for 2 more and we hope to have them in England before September. My mom is still with me and the two grandchildren who are waiting to go to England. I continue to hope that you all are well and happy. God bless you and keep you in His care.
2009 still in Public Safety, a supervisor just with a different department. I have 8 grand children now. My oldest daughter and her 5 children live with me along with my Mom who has Alzheimer's. My Dad you may remember him when he taught at WTW, passed away in January 2006. Anyway..God is still good and keeping us in His hands. Take care.
I have been in Public Safety for about 20 and a half years, 4 plus were with the Seagoville Police Dept, 11 have been with the Lancaster P...Expand for more
olice and Fire Department in Lancaster ,Tx., and 7 years with Glenn Heights PD I am the 911 Communications Supervisor. I am a proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren. .
My life is very full and never dull, sometimes I yearn for a little "dull".
I hope that all of my former classmates are well. I hope joy and peace have been your companions most of this trip through life.I know we have all been touched by some of the hard times that come with it, but I believe that if it weren't for the hard stuff, we wouldn't enjoy the good stuff nearly as much.
Oh, I've got a few poems in the International Library of Congress and if you'd like to read them go to poetry.com. No money for them, but at least they are published... and it sounds impressive. I am also working on a novel, which I may finish when I am 90. Anybody out there a publisher?
I also have my 4 cats,6 kittens,4 dogs and...the local wildlife (squirrels, oppossums, and other little critters). I have 2 creeks,{one seasonal), gorgeous old trees and and a ramblin'old house. God has blessed me too much for someone so
undeserving.
But I hope anyone who remembers me and reads this will send me an E-mail and let me know how you are doing...do you feel 50ish? I don't I still have this
18 year old girl running around inside of me saying....Gosh Grandma, where did you come from? God bless you all.
