Rebecca's Story
Life
As I exited from High school I entered the working world and was employed by the York Region Board of Education. Yes the institution I most hated I was now working for. At one point I was even working back at Langstaff SS in the Handicapped classrooms. It was really rewarding to work with children from kindergarten to highschool all who had one kind of disabilitiy or other. While working fulltime I had a beautiful daughter. Who at this stage is 19 and is just finishing school and looking to enter into the field of EMS. I met someone in 1991 got married 1 yr later . I left the boar...Expand for more
d of Ed in 95 due to health reasons. In 1997 I started to investigate the field of doulaing. I was so excited at what I was seeing that I became one. I have been helping women give birth since 1998 and have never looked back. I have I have done a very large number of births, and almost half of those with the Rose of Sharon, a school for young single moms. Being a single mom when I gave birth I feel like I can help make a diffrence in the young ladies lives.
Have been single again since 2002. I have been seeing my special fella for almost 4 years. Who knows what tomorrow holds......
