(1.) I am an anglophile. I am proud to be an American, but I'm also proud to be of British heritage. I watch British TV, listen to British music, read British books, and most of the time, my thoughts are in a British accent. And please don't get me started on British men...
(2.) I love Detroit. Try to diss my city in front of me, and you're in for a fight. I am perfectly aware of the problems, but I am in no way ready to believe that mocking them are the way to fix them, and I want them fixed damn it. Give me one bad thing about Detroit, I will give you three good things.
(3.) I have the most random musical taste of anyone you will ever meet. People assume that because I listen to Justin Bieber that I don't listen to The Beatles, and that since I love The Beatles, I wouldn't possibly listen to Eminem. And obviously, since I listen to Eminem, I would never listen to Loretta Lynn. But I do.

He died when I was 8. I've been raised by my mother, and I thank the lord every day that she is such a strong woman, and raised my brothers and I so well.
(5.) Get this straight. I dress like a boy, I talk like a boy, I act like a boy, and I live with boys. I also like boys. I'm not a lesbian. But I do support gay rights. Some of my best friends are gay...just, I'm not.
(6.) I am old at heart. I love history. I love old movies. I love old music. And I love old people. Seriously, if you leave me with your grandmother for five minutes, we will be in a conversation by the time you get back.
(7.) I love my family. I've been raised to be really close with my family, and I've found that even at their most annoying, I love them unconditionally. There are few people that are genetically destined to be just as odd as me.
(8.) I am a self proclaimed nerd, and I let my freak flag fly. But we nerds unite, so I have absolutely no problem with that. My people rule the world. Except Bush. We stake no claim for Bush.
(9.) I really have no interest in sports. I don't mind watching them when they're on, but I don't go out of my way. I don't like doing action-packed things. I give cred to anybody that can actually be a professional anything-player, but I just never got into sports.
(10.) I believe in God. I am Catholic. I love Jesus. But I have no problem surrounding myself with people who don't. I will not shove my beliefs down their throat. But if I have to push back plans so I can go to church, please don't look at me funny. I find it comforting to go to church. It's not a "God only hears me when I'm in church" thing, it's a "I find peace when I can devote time to being with other people who are helping me connect with the Lord." Believe me, I am not a sheep led to slaughter, but I am a believer.".
