Rebecka's Story
Time sure does fly! I can't believe it has been so long since I've been away. I moved to Alaska in 1992. Only leaving for a short time to take a ranch job in Arizona and then working cattle on horseback for a large sale co. in Wyoming. I moved back to Alaska because I love living close to my mom. I have four kids now and a terrific husband. We own a very small hunting and fishing outfit in the bush (fly in or horseback two days in only). I homeschool my kids, and a couple of years ago I decided to go to school and I'm working on becoming a veterinarian if everything works out. ally love learning now and am maintaining a 4.0 average! Somehow that never was even a care back in high school. I raise goats for milk, and they have taken the place of horses for the time being because of the lack of time, and they eat much less too. We also raise poultry and rabbits and enjoy fishing very much. My husband is also a custom home builder in the non-hunting/fishing season so we get to live a dual life during the year. We live a very simple life and enjoy spending mega amounts of family time together. I would love to hear from everyone out there who remembers me and see how you all are doing. Blessings!
