Now he will have trouble with his tendons for life - snapped them like rubber bands. He and his girlfriend have moved out here to Oregon to join the rest of the family and have fallen in love with the beauty that surrounds us. They currently reside in Silverton. My 13 year old goes to Cascade Junior high where I went all those years ago! He is very actively involved in the band program and plays a multitude of instruments. The band teacher is trying to get him into the Jazz band next semester - but having difficulies due to him still only being in eighth grade not ninth. This year his brother also started at Cascade JH. He is doing just great and I am very proud of him. He is our "Drama Queen". Lives and breathes the stage (don't know where he could have acquired that talent) He will be playing football in the fall and also plays Sax in the school band. Our baby just turned seven and is turning my hair white as we speak. I am having issues with how fast he is growing up and can't seem to get him to stop and enjoy being young. Jon just loves adventure and has broken his nose three times already with his antics. His goal in life is to be a part-time fireman and a part time extreme sportist! (Pray for me!) After a breif battle with cancer several years ago I started getting back in touch with many of my friends from high school and it has really started to complete a part of me that I had not realized was missing.
