Regina's Story
Life
I left California in 2006 and moved to Jacksonville, FL. I lived in JAX for two years and then recently received a promotion to an HR Director and moved to Tampa, FL. I like being on the west coast again ... even if it is 3,000 miles away from the other West Coast I was used to. Ashley and Alison still live in CA -- San Diego to be exact -- and I cannot imagine that they will ever move east. However, they are being good college students so I cannot complain.
Ben and I are on our way to 24 years together and because he travels for his job, our lives only intersect a few days per month. It makes the weekends very busy. Everyone is very healthy and happy.
I posted a picture from my niece's wedding in 2006 -- all my daughters were in the wedding party. It was a beautiful day in San Diego -- enjoy the pics!

College
No college roommates --- got married way too young and lived with my husband while attending school.
Had children, and a lot of time passed before getting the degree. It was all worth it though!
Workplace
I've worked with Lowe's since 2003 -- and was recently promoted to Regional HR Director in Tampa, FL. I now have 55 stores on the west coast of Florida and go up into Americus, GA. It's an interesting part of the country.
Prior to that, I worked in Temecula, CA for a 9-1-1 Phone Manufacturer as a recruiter. Prior to that, I worked as an HR Manager for US Foodservice.
I've always worked in public businesses -- McDonald's, Pepsi-Cola, US Foodservice and now Lowe's. It's been a great 25 years -- and I hope not to be working another 25! But with the economy today, I will likely be working until I'm 90+!
