Regina's Story
Life
I teach English and humanities courses at a small Vermont college. My new husband and I (married August '04) live in a log cabin on a dirt road high on a hill (wood stove and all). I have five grown children and four grandchildren (so far) by my previous spouse, who died in 1995. I enjoy reading, writing, gardening, cooking, playing music with my husband and our friends, and engaging in political activism. (Recently attended a peace rally in Washington, D.C.--deja vu all over again.) Advice to single/widowed/divorced folks looking for a new love: try Match.com. It worked for us!
School

rly memorable were Mr Rudoy, Mr Bannick, Mr Bogdonoff, Mr Mossman, Mrs Laskin, Miss Kozak, Mrs Anderson, Miss Gitlin, and Mr Munson, all of whom encouraged me to think--to use and to value my intelligence--and to be creative. I wish I'd paid more attention to Mr Birk and Mr Cohen, both of whom had my best interests at heart even though I steadfastly refused to recognize that fact. I would definitely do it over again, with the exception of gym class--remember those awful blue bloomer suits? I have only one major regret: I didn't pressure my parents to allow me to take music lessons. No, make that two regrets: I didn't go to the prom. Oh, well.
