Regina's Story

Gail and I are friends but we never get to see each other. We keep in touch and have plans to meet up Golden Girls style in the future. School I started at Mount Ida College in Sept of ‘91. My class started out with 70 students and by December it only had 30. In May of ‘94 I graduated with my Associates and only 20 people in my class. In Sept ‘94 I started my senior year. With only 15 of us. I started commuting from home. Senior year was internships mine were New England Wildlife, Franklin Park Zoo, New England Aquarium, Museum of Science, and a Research facility. May ‘95 I graduated with my Bachelors. Work I started working at Angelo’s at 14 and stayed there forever. Freshman year of college I started working in the kennel at Mount Ida. ng as a cashier at a local Stop and Shop near college and kept my kennel job. ‘93 I started working at West Roxbury Animal Hospital April of ‘94 I quit both my cashier job and kennel job to take a job at South Shore Vet. Clinic. In July of ‘95 South Shore was bought out and they laid everyone off but 3 people. August of ‘95 I started working at the Brookline Animal Hospital. A year later I was made Head Tech. I was a surgical tech and did many dental procedures each day. I left Brookline in ‘02 and started working at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist. September ‘03, I left Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist Life ‘97 I met Paul and we were married in ‘00. ‘04 We welcomed 3 boys. ‘06 We welcomed 1 girl. I have 1 boy at Upper Cape Tech in the culinary program and 2 boys & 1 girl at Wareham High School in the dual enrollment program.
