As a senior in high school, I couldn't wait to graduate. I was there for the social life and wasn't that interested in wasting my day in school. What was I thinking??? At our graduation, I looked around the room as all of us seniors were standing and got a huge lump in my throat. I was realizing that I was never going to see some of the people that I went to school with, in elementary on up. That's turned out to be true. I have great memories of so many of my classmates. I can remember many things from then, in detail, but now it just seems that I hear something in one ear and it just keeps traveling and drops out of the other! I married Rob Hilton (class of 69), the same year I graduated. What was I thinking? Oh, that's right....I knew it all! ;) We have beaten the odds and have been married 37 years and we still like each other. Ü We have 1 girl and 4 boys and 6 grandkids that we love and adore! I was such a wild child and gave my parents fits, so I was expecting some payback. I have been pleasantly surprised that my children have all turned out great! I guess it's an every other generation thing. ;) Most of my kids live right around this area, but my daughter, Jenn, lives in Corinth, Texas. (Near Dallas) Her husband works for Southwest Airlines at their corporate headquarters. That gives us the advantage of being able to see each other often, because of their flying privileges. She has 1 boy and 3 girls. That would be the majority of my grandkids! We get down to see them 3 or 4 times a year and they get up here about the same number of times.
