Renata's Story
I have lived in Ottawa since 1978 (yikes -- that long!), arriving to do grad work in public adminsitration at Carleton. I have been a career civil servant -- sounds boring, but I have had a wonderful 29 year career (which still continues now at Environment Canada) which has allowed me to travel across Canada and abroad and meet people from all walks of life.

In my spare time (what's that?), I love to go for walks, read and travel (although not a lot of money for the latter). I still keep in touch with some Beamsville folks and get to the Niagara area a few times a year as my mother lives in Grimsby. I often try to pass by the "old homestead" on Locust Lane -- it brings back many fond memories (mostly of munching on peaches and cherries). I would love to hear from former classmates and friends.
