ome to NOLA but since Katrina, there is no reason to visit except for our higj school reunions. I moved my father to Florida after the storm. He passed away on his birthday in July, 2008. My mother passed away in 1994. I also went back to practicing and being very involved with my Jewish faith and while in Israel I experienced total inner-peace with myself and my heritage. I now continue to pass on the message of the Holocaust in remembrance of the family I lost and follow in the footsteps of my parents who survived it. I speak on the subjects of not only their experiences but also the story of my coming to America and trying to acclimate being an American at the St. Petersburg, FL Holocaust Museum. It was so nice to see so many of you at our 48th reunion in 2011 and I feel close to so many of you. I have learned recently that for sure you should live and enjoy each day as if it were your last. I lost my good health and it's becoming more and more debilitating day by day but I am not giving up! I am truly looking forward to seeing you all and finally sitting down and enjoying our next reunion. Anyone out there wanting to help Jim, Chip Ginger,Cheryl and me, please contact us. It takes a lot of work to put these events together. Till our (do you believe it will be our 50th?) reunion in 2014!
