Rene's Story
Life
Where have I worked (only one was listed in Classmates)? Ministry of the Attorney General (1980-1982), Nature's Scene (1982-1993), Dr. Chan & Dr. Mermigis (1994-1997), City of Orillia Fire Department (1997 to present). Currently, I am a 911 operator and fire dispatcher and have been a volunteer fire fighter for the past 10 years. I just completed my programs at the Ontario Fire College and am now a certified Fire and Life Safety Educator and a Fire Prevention Officer.

1984. We had three daughters, all of whom are pursuing their post-secondary educations. I left Mississauga in 1995 and moved north to Orillia where my family lives.
I love living in Orillia. I can't imagine moving back to the city now, and I notice that when I visit, my grip on the steering wheel becomes increasingly tight as I proceed south of Highway 9.
What do I wish? That my memory was better and that I could remember the last names of my friends from school. If you remember me, please give me a nudge.
