Life
I WAS ALSO KNOWN BY THE LAST NAME OF PAYNE IN THE EARLIER YEARS OF ATTENDANCE. I STILL LIKE JOE'S HAMBURGERS AND EXCEPT FOR THE UNTIMELY DEATH OF GEORGE FLORES WOULD STILL BE GOING TO TRIPLE X FOR ONE OF HIS SISSYBURGERS AND ROOT BEER.
Workplace
I spent 34 years working at Kelly afb, and retired in Sept. 1999. Since retiring I look for things to do. An old friend and I do a lot of hand...Expand for more
y man type repairs just to keep busy and have a little extra spending money.
Military
I joined the reserves with some friends of mine. I went active duty in march of '62 and during the course of some medical tests I was found to have a minor medical problem which precluded me from serving my full term. I was active duty for about 2 months total. I received a General under Honerable discharge.
