Renee's Story
I hope old friends remember me as a compassionate,
caring fun loving person.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I walk. My favorite way to relax is going to botanical gardens or Ravinia in the summer. I love to go to borders or the library or concerts in the winter.
I have lived in Highland Park,Illinois most of my life.
I moved to New York in 1969, my husband was from
New York. My daughter was born in New York.
We moved to Buffalo Grove in 1971.
I was divorced in 1972 unfortunatly,
My mother was very sick,so we moved back with
my parents to help. We remained after Mom died
to help Dad.
My best friend would tell you I'm caring and supportive, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a little shy.
I went to Monticello College,an all girls school from
1962-1964. I taught early childhood in Park Ridge
from 1964-1969. Attended National College of Ed
on Sat and evenings, then a...Expand for more

and of course spending time with my daughter,son-in-law and 2 grandchildren,a grandson who just turned 7 and granddaughter who is 4 and a half.
I am currently involved in a Havara group through my
synogogue. I volunteer for the sisterhood and take
classes at the synogogue. I am volunteering in the kindergarten at Lincoln school.
I attended the early childhood conference at the end
of Jan. at Mccormick place. Surprise,I can still learn and try to keep up with new developments in my field.
I love to be in contact with old friends and enjoy making
new friends.
